How does the commission refund work?
When representing a home-buyer, CALPMG earns a commission from the seller, usually worth 3% of the home price as a commission. We keep 48% of the commission for our service, and refund the 52% to you. It is that simple.

You Get A Refund Within 7 Days Of Closing
Normally your refund can be applied towards yours closing costs, and you can get the rest as a check within seven days of closing. The refund is tax-free it is like a rebate after buying a car or after you buy a computer. If you're using a loan that is insured or backed by a government agency your lender's requirements may not allow you to receive a check from us for the portion of your refund amount not applied to closing costs. Be sure to ask them about their policy up-front so you'll know how your refund can be used.
Save More When You Sell With CALPMG
If you sell one home and buy another home through CALPMG, you can save even more. Rather than paying 3% of the home price to sell your home, you pay only 1.25% when you sell with CALPMG. Your refund depends on the home's final sales price and the commission offered by its seller. The typical commission is 2.5%; in some places it's 3%.
